Spirits Soaring With Psanctuary

This weeks Womxn In Business sends me out to J-Town to visit a friend of over a decade, Courtney Rose. She and her husband started Psanctuary, a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based organization, the first sacred mushroom church of its kind not only in Kentucky but the country. They are protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, in case you were wondering if its legal. Psilocybin mushrooms are a sacred plant that the church uses as its sacrament for spiritual growth and exploration of consciousness.
Courtney and I met while working at Rainbow Blossom in Middletown way way back in the day and we spent many evenings hanging out and growing a great friendship. We’ve managed to maintain that bond throughout the years as our lives have evolved and I am so grateful for it because she is a REAL one! Hangouts are a little different now that we are both moms and business Womxn but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
Psanctuary holds weekly Sunday Zoom Services at 10am CST where they discuss various conscious topics and read from rotating spiritual books. It’s a great way to stay connected to the community and find like minded spirits right here in Louisville. If you are ready to dive deeper, you can register for one of the many retreats they offer throughout the year.
